Of Snacks!
This summer at the Walt Disney World Resort, the Incredible Tomorrowland Expo has landed inside the Magic Kingdom park! Characters, special events, and photo ops are all a part of the fun, but of course, my favorite part is the food!
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe is a huge quick-service location inside The Magic Kingdom in Tomorrowland! Fun fact: this location is the second busiest quick service location in the entire world! They have classic theme-park fare including burgers, chicken nuggets, and fries, but for the Incredible Tomorrowland Expo, their menu got a super facelift!
Super Stretchy Burger Inspired by Mrs. Incredible
This incredible new addition is #1 in my book. A typical burger with a few added punches! Crisp bacon, creamy garlic ranch, stretchy mozzarella sticks, and a branded brioche bun make this lunch unique. Cut it in half and pull it apart to see your snack stretch just like Mrs. Incredible!
I loved this burger. I thought it was so delicious, the garlic ranch was flavorful, the bun was super soft and you cannot go wrong with that much cheese and bacon. It’s a good thing calories don’t count in Disney!
Super Foods Salad
What Mr. Incredible ate when he went on that major diet in the first movie, I would assume. This kale salad packed with quinoa, blueberries, and avocado topped with balsamic vinaigrette and freshly grilled chicken, upon request. As I mentioned in my review of The Plaza Restaurant, there aren’t a lot of salads in The Magic Kingdom, so this fresh new option is well-welcomed!
The Lunching Pad
Am I the only one who spent forever thinking this was The Launching Pad? Disney, you’re so clever with your nomenclature! Anyway, this little spot under the Astro Orbiter is the perfect place to stop if you’re looking for a savory, salty, incredible treat!
Mrs. Incredible Pretzel Mask
WITH CHEESE! At least for me! This salty pretzel was in a fun and foreign shape for the Disney Parks! Instead of a smiling Mickey Mouse, a black sea-salt encrusted mask was available for snacking. The mask was just as tasty as the classic Mickey pretzel and it was fun to try something a little new!
Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea
If you’re a Disney fan, you know that Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea stands are scattered throughout the Walt Disney World Resort property. Here you can get huge donuts, coffee and tea drinks along with specialty drinks at select locations!
The Incredibly Refreshing Frozen Flame
Wow! Was this awesome on a hot day! Just in time for the summer, this bright passion fruit and strawberry drink is perfect for a hot day. The colors match The Incredibles iconic super-suits but don’t taste artificial. My favorite thing about this slushie is that it is made with real fruit flavors and with the first sip, you can tell! Anyone who knows me knows that I love all slushies, but one was especially fruity and refreshing!
Incredibles 2 Blasts into Theatres June 15
Is FINALLY, officially out today! Head to the theatres to see the film, and if you’re lucky enough to be heading to Walt Disney World this summer, celebrate with a snack at the Incredible Tomorrowland Expo!
