A Classic Day in the Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom, Of Course!

So This Is Love

No matter how many wonderful memories I create in the other Walt Disney World parks, The Magic Kingdom will always take up the biggest space in my Disney-loving heart.  Truly The Most Magical Place on Earth, The Magic Kingdom has seen me through smiles and tears.  I have made friends here, I have made wishes here, and in this wonderful place, I took my first steps towards my dreams.  This wonderful video by my friends Kayla and Phillip gives a glimpse into this magical place that takes up such a huge piece of my heart.  In this post, I will outline my perfect Magic Kingdom day, so you can create yours!

Favorites & Firsts

For me, Magic Kingdom will always be one of the most spectacular places on Earth, but to keep my park days exciting, I really like to do a few favorite rides and attractions and then do something new!  Although it may be hard to find something to do for the first time, with the ever-changing nature of the parks, I always find a way!

Faith, Trust & Pixie Dust

Of all the experiences in all four of the Walt Disney World parks, I don’t know if there is any other I feel more connected to.  My most magical moments have occurred under a sheer veil of this pixie dust.  Sharing this moment with friends is always special, plus Kayla had never made her wish in the Magic Kingdom before.  Getting pixie dust together was such a special and fun experience to share!

When I See An Elephant Fly

When I think of Disney, I think of Dumbo.  This iconic ride is a must do in the Magic Kingdom, no matter how many times you have visited before.  In Walt Disney World, the dual-Dumbo rides stand tall in Storybook Circus, giving guests a breathtaking view of the kingdom and of course, Cinderella Castle.  Every time I climb aboard this sweet little elephant’s back, I can’t help but admire how beautiful this brightly colored, classic ride is!

Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover

Fantasyland may have my heart, but Tomorrowland is always close behind.  Tomorrowland has a way of making me feel nostalgic but hopeful for the future at the same time, which I think is a wonderfully magical thing.  The PeopleMover is a classic ride that I hop on every time I’m in the park.  The wait is never too long, and it’s the best place to sit and relax, while still enjoying an attraction.

Under the Sea

As I mentioned, finding something new to do is always the main goal of my day at the parks.  Walt Disney World has so many experiences to share, I know there’s no way I have completed them all!  Meeting Princess Ariel in her grotto was something I had never done before, so we headed under the sea to see the princess.  Character experiences are always fun, but every once in a while, it’s something extra special.  Kayla and I learned to swim like Ariel as she combed our hair with her dinglehopper!  I’ve decided I want to be a full-time mermaid, this meet and greet was such a splash!

The Best First of All

I love finding new experiences, like trying incredible new foods or rides.  New attractions never fail to help me find the magic of the parks all over again.  However, out of all the firsts I have experienced, the best one hands-down, is and will always be, making memories with new friends.

This day at the parks was special only partly because of the fun attractions and rides.  Spending the day getting to know my new friends Kayla and Phillip was what made this day something to remember and cherish, forever.

Lucky for me, Kayla and Phillip, who you can find over at Hey Team Kelly, are incredible videographers.  So I get to repeat this wonderful day we had together over and over, whenever I want!

If you’re planning an extra-special day in the parks, or if you just want to remember your vacation, reaching out to Kayla and Phillip would be my number one piece of advice.  I had never thought of filming a video before, but having something so beautiful and alive to look back on is irreplaceable to me!  Having a memento that captures the whole day just cannot be beaten.

To me, life is so precious and fleeting, so these memories of the people you spent your magical day with are the most important thing you can gain from your trip.

Until the Next Adventure!
