Disney Springs has grown once again with one of their latest sweet additions – M&M’s at Disney Springs! This epic sweet shop is a can-not-miss experience if you’re a fan of the chocolates that melt in your mouth, not in your hand, and Disney!
My M&M’s experience
When I was a little girl, my older cousin, affectionately referred to as my Kiki, worked for M&M Mars. The flagship factory for these tiny candies located only a few miles from my childhood home. As a result, I always have a special love for the brand. And of course, for the exclusive merchandise and creative new candies, I was able to try before they were released!
M&M’s stores exist all around the globe, and in each city and location, they’re a little different. Growing up, it was always a treat when I was able to stop into our local location – M&M’s World in Times Square, NYC. When I heard that the new M&M’s store was opening, I was so excited! It is so much fun to have this nostalgic experience right in my backyard once again!
M&M’s at Disney Springs location
The M&M’s at Disney Springs is located on the West Side of Disney Springs. The building is located right next door to other exciting new offerings, such as the NBA Experience (which has not reopened at the time of this article) and City Works! Just like everything on the Walt Disney World property, the building is larger than life! It’s bright yellow, and covered in rainbow-colored M&M’s!
What I liked most about this location was how unique it felt to Walt Disney World and Florida. Fun facts on the wall talked about how M&M’s have been to space, which to me, is a fun connection to the Space Coast.
The store is spacious and has many different sweet interactive experiences that make this destination about much more than just shopping. Digital kiosks can help you to design and print your own M&M’s, but that’s not even the best part!
Make your own M&M blend
For the foodie in me, my favorite part of the store was the expansive, colorful, M&M wall at the back of the store. Tall, clear tubes reach all the way to the heightened ceilings and are filled to the brim with every M&M candy on the market. Different sizes, colors, and flavors, all ready to create your perfect blend. Cellophane bags and reusable plastic cups with bright logos on the front are ready to be filled and were an affordable Disney Springs activity.
My unique blend is a mixture of M&M’s minis, peanut M&M’s, peanut butter M&M’s, and caramel M&M’s. Having this experience so close to my backyard means I might never buy M&M’s from the grocery store again!
M&M’s at Disney Springs merchandise
What sets M&M’s at Disney Springs apart besides the look, experiences, and unique Florida touches, would have to be the big Disney additions around the store. Specialty-colored candy blends represent favorite characters, like Mickey Mouse. Character-shaped candy boxes are filled with blends and provide a sweet and affordable keepsake from the trip. Plus, find shelves and displays full of exclusive merchandise adorned with logos, characters, and more from both brands!
A win for Disney Springs
I believe this latest addition to Walt Disney World Resort is a win all around. It’s easy to stop into the store and shop around, but it has an engaging experience to offer as well. I believe Disney Parks guests will love this new store, whether they’re bringing back a keepsake from their vacation, or just looking for a sweet, Disney Springs date night!
