A podcast. I can’t believe that today, I launched a podcast! With my best friend Kait from Kait Around The Kingdom, of course! The Carousel Project is a passion project for years in the making.
It has been so long since Kait and I first met on Instagram. Yes, internet friends are real sometimes! We instantly clicked and have been the best of pals ever since. From the very beginning, we have shared such a deep love for Disney. Not just for spending days in the parks, but for talking about our favorite moments throughout Disney history. From stories about Walt to magical park moments, we have spent so much free time chatting about it all. For so long, we tried to think of a way to share that with others. A way to share with others that felt organically, us. And then, we thought of the perfect thing!
Making it our own
The two of us both have a history of working in marketing and public relations. If we’re not talking about Disney, we’re geeking out over a new campaign or an old project. So, the idea was born to create a podcast that combines our two passions into one!
Each week on the podcast, we’ll dive into a moment in Disney or theme park history. Through the lens of a marketing and public relations case study, we’ll learn and share more about what brought these magical moments to life.
A podcast passion project
We could not be more excited to share this new project with the world. Our podcast allows us to share new theme park topics, stories, and facts with the world. It has been a long time in the making, but we feel as though we finally have it right. Each Friday, we will release a new episode, each it’s very own deep-dive into a specific moment in theme park history. Besides chatting through these iconic theme park campaigns, we are able to add in moments and stories from our own experiences working in and writing about the Disney Parks.
